The Movie Artiste's Association (MAA) has decided to recommend on bubbly actress Genelia in future Telugu movies. Sources say that MAA has strongly suggested the Telugu film Producers not to extend their cooperation to the actress since Genelia did not take membership in MAA. Some time back MAA has urged several actresses including Genelia to take membership in the association and register within a stipulated time. But it looks like Gennie has failed to do so and MAA was furious with Genelia.

This is how the rule goes it seems – to get MAA membership; the actor needs to pay one lakh rupees and also needs have three Telugu movies under his belt. So it would be interesting to see Genelia’s response on this MAA’s gesture! Genelia is currently playing the female lead opposite Daggubati Rana in the movie ‘Naa Ishtam’ movie.
