Kollywood star Karthi’s Khaidi, Kaithi in Tamil became huge blockbuster at the box office. The film had transformed its director Lokesh Kanagaraj into one of the most sought-after filmmakers in Tamil Cinema.

Ever since the makers of this gripping gangster drama announced a sequel, Karthi and Lokesh’s fans have been eagerly waiting for further updates the duo’s second collaboration. But due to Leo and Thalaivar 171, this sequel got delayed.

And Karthi himself has made a surprise revelation on this much-awaited sequel in a latest interview while promoting his soon-to-release action entertainer, Japan. Karthi has confirmed that Khaidi 2 will be going on floors after Lokesh wraps up his next project featuring Superstar Rajinikanth.

Karthi went on to reveal that Khaidi 2’s shoot was supposed to start in January, but it got delayed due to the Rajini-Lokesh film. Japan is Karthi’s silver jubilee film. The film is gearing up to hit theaters on November 10.
