Dunki DROP 1 promises entertainment emotions and drama

After delivering two 1000 crores blockbusters Pathaan and Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan is all set to strike hat-trick with his third film for the year – Dunki directed by Rajkumar Hirani King Khan fans have been waiting with bated breath for the Dunki glimpse and it finally dropped with the title Dunki DROP 1.

The DUNKI DROP 1 unveiled today, gives us a glimpse into the wonderful world of Rajkumar Hirani. The opening visuals of the teaser show Shah Rukh Khan’s Hardy and a group of people walking across the desert, dressed in black as a suspicious man shoots at them.

The film aims to bring back the sweetness and nostalgia of cinema, evoking cherished memories. In Dunki, Shah Rukh Khan plays a man named Hardy, who desperately wants to move to London along with his buddies.

Taapsee Pannu plays a character named Manu, and Vicky Kaushal stars as Sukhi. It appears that the film is set in Punjab, where youngsters are keen on moving abroad as they search for a better life.

Dunki is an innocent film, but it retains themes of patriotism that Shah Rukh has often unpacked in his films across the years. It charts the arduous yet life changing journey they are about to undertake to make their dreams come true.

The film will be releasing worldwide in theatres for Christmas 2023.
