For starters, "Baahubali: The Beginning" has won National Award as a "Best Film" at 63rd National Film Awards. And that's about the best film on a whole in India. But if we take to Regional Cinema, then Telugu film "Kanche" won Best Telugu Film award thus sending stunners across Telugu Film Industry.

Directed by Krish and featuring Varun Tej in the lead, "Kanche" is all about a soldier fighting in World War II and also fighting similar issue (racism and caste system) back home in a village. The screenplay that tells the story back and forth is impressive. Though Kanche is not a phenomenal box office success, it surely made a mark on the audiences and also the industry. Probably this is the best film that could inspire others to come into similar style of stories and story telling.
