Peddi team held a Thank You Meet following the film’s strong theatrical run and growing audience response across markets. The event saw director Buchi Babu Sana, Ram Charan, Jagapathi Babu and producer Venkata Satish Kilaru speak about the reception and the journey behind the film.

Speaking at the event, Buchi Babu Sana revealed that one of the inspirations for Peddi came from the Khelo India initiative launched in 2017–18. He stated that the idea was to tell a story rooted in discovering talent from marginalised rural backgrounds and showcase how sports create emotional connections that go beyond urban and rural divides.

Jagapathi Babu shared that he was initially nervous after seeing mixed reactions to a few portions of the film on day one. However, as word-of-mouth strengthened and audience response improved, he said he felt relieved and thankful. He also called Peddi one of the most rewarding films of his career.

Ram Charan stated that he feels thoroughly satisfied with the response to his performance and said he approached Peddi with complete honesty, sincerity and commitment. He added that audience acceptance has reinforced his belief that heartfelt efforts will always find appreciation and thanked the entire team, including AR Rahman, for contributing to the film’s reception.
