Updated : Jul 14, 2017

Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s 25th film under Trivikram Srinivas is scheduled for release during Sankranthi, 2018. Since buzz is high on the project, buyers bought the film’s rights for most of the areas, much before the GST (Goods And Service Tax) was implemented. The yet to be titled movie makers are lucky to have closed business deals much prior.

On the flip side, makers of Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Spyder are unlucky for keeping all the business deals on hold. Distributors were ready to invest big amounts on the high budgeted film a month ago. However, the makers kept them on hold. With GST being implemented distributors are now not keen on investing big on the film. Trade analysts say that, betting big on films is a risky factor for now as it is tough for recover money because of GST.

Spyder business may be closed in few days, but the makers would get a bit less prices. Interim, the film is scheduled for release on September 27th.
