Is this most hyped sequel just getting the biggest of Bollywood heroines to play the leading ladies of two talented and most amusing star heroes? Seems like director Shankar is making “Robo 2” bigger than anything at box office.

Already Shankar is busy churning out the final version of the script of “Robo 2” that will have Superstar Rajnikanth playing the lead role. No doubt, the film needs a powerful antagonist this time unlike Rajni playing both the roles in  “Robo”. While that first installment of the franchise, Aishwarya Rai played the romantic interest of both scientist and Robo, and guess who is Shankar trying to rope for this second part.

Reports have Deepika Padukone is being contacted to play opposite Rajnikanth yet again after she has done that 3D part in “Kochadaiyaan”, while Katrina Kaif is approached for Vikram’s love interest character. We have to see if this materialises or not, but Robo 2 is going to be another challenging flick for Shankar.
