Updated : Jul 14, 2015

In Bollywood, almost all the big stars like Khans and Kapoors have this habit of racing into 100 crore club soon after a movie releases. The fastest being Shahrukh’s “Happy New Year” that took nearly 4-5 days to race past the mark, we have biggies like Ek Tha Tiger and PK collecting around 30 and 25 crores gross on opening day while it took 5-6 days to enter the club.

The record now goes to “Baahubali” as the film managed to storm into 100 crore club with ₹ 140 crores gross collection on the first three days of release. It took just two days to enter 100 crore club for this epic war drama made on a budget of 250 crores.

Released on July 10th in four languages across India, the film’s Telugu version is the biggest contributor to the amazing gross collections, while Hindi stood next followed by tamil and Malayalam version of the film. Hindi version of the film minted Rs.22.35 crore in the first weekend in India, which is another record of sorts for a dubbed film.
