Baahubali The Beginning was an industry hit and no film has beaten the record till date. Expectations are sky high on Baahubali 2 The Conclusion. Let's see whether Baahubali part 2 is up to the mark or not...

Story:
Rajamatha Shivagami (Ramya Krishna) suggests Baahubali (Prabhas) to roam in distant villages of Mahishmathi kingdom and Kattappa is sent along with him. Baahubali reaches Kunthala kingdom where he falls flat for the beauty of princess Deva Sena (Anushka), though he won't reveal his identity to anybody over there. Baahubali helps Kunthala kingdom from the deadly Pindaarees. Deva Sena also starts admiring Baahubali, after watching his gutsy attitude. Meanwhile, Bhallala Deva (Rana) makes sketches to target Baahubali. What are they? Whom Shivagami will listen to- Baahubali or Bhallala Deva? What circumstances influences Kattappa to kill Baahubali? How Amarendra Baahubali (Prabhas) takes revenge for his father's death? To know answers for all these queries you need to watch the film on big screen.

Positives:
1. Part 1 Story Revelation In Titles With 3D Characters
2. Anushka Gorgeous In Songs
3. Music
4. Rajamouli Mark Elevations
5. War Sequence In First Half
6. Prabhas

Negatives:
1. Few Boring Scenes Here And There
2. CG Work In Second Half
3. Unnecessary Comedy

Analysis:

Baahubali 2 starts with Kattappa narrating back story of Baahubali to the latter's son Amarendra Baahubali. Shivagami performs rakshasa vadha yagam where Baahubali makes entry in style to save her from giant elephants. The way Baahubali takes the elephants under his control and how he helps Shivagami to complete the yaga is shown productively. Later, Anushka is introduced as Deva Sena, Princess of Kunthala Kingdom and she takes on bandits in very first scene. This action sequence where Baahubali and Kattappa help Deva Sena to finish the bandits is a treat to watch. Then, Baahubali assists Deva Sena's men finishing off  Pindaarees who attack Kunthala Kingdom. The way bulls were used to take on the deadly Pindaarees is impressive. When Bhallala Deva is appointed as Mahishmathi King owing to some reasons and Baahubali is appointed as Senadhipathy, people in the kingdom roars in support of Baahubali. This sequence will give goosebumps to audiences. Bhallala Deva and his father Bijjaladeva makes their plans to slay Baahubali. Actual drama starts here with how they influence Rajamatha to change her opinion on Baahubali. Deva Sena and Rajamatha conflict is shown effectively. Then comes the sequence of Kattappa killing Baahubali, which can't be told simply as there's a long process for Kattappa to make his mind on this. Meanwhile, Kalakeyas attack Mahishmathi kingdom. There's no explanation on this- why did they attack all of the sudden and what's the purpose behind it. Then, the rest of the story is how Amarendra Baahubali takes revenge for his father's death. Climax war sequence is not up to the mark, maybe because of mediocre CG work. Overall, Baahubali 2 hardly has magical moments like in first part such as Shivudu (Prabhas) climbing waterfall. Other negativity is Rajamouli botched to deal romantic sequences.

Artists Performances:
Prabhas steals the show with his performance. He has dominated completely with his tremendous show from start to end. He is too good in war episodes. Apparently, Prabhas worked hard to make himself perfect to act in deadly action sequences. Rana Daggubati is good. But, he was overshadowed by Prbhas. It was an eye feast to watch them (the two hulks) fight in the climax war episode. Anushka is pretty in songs. You are sure to be bowled out by her beauty in 'past' episodes. Ramyakrishna is ultimate as usual and Sathyaraj too makes great impact. Subbaraj tried to provide some laughs, which actually weren't worked out. Nasser is good. Tamannah appears only in pre-climax and climax episodes.

Technical Aspect:
Director SS Rajamouli is our Telugu pride. His story telling is simply amazing. There is drama and emotions in part two which were actually missing in part one. However, Rajamouli should have included some magical moments here and there to please audiences who watch the film with great expectations. Overall, there's no director in India who can deal all emotions precisely like Rajamouli do. Cinematography by Senthil is top notch and music by MM Keeravani is fascinating. While songs were hummable, background score was enchanting. Editing was sharp. Production values of Arka Media are high in standard.

Verdict:
Baahubali 2 is a must watch for all section of audiences. The visuals, making, cinematography, story narration and direction are simply superb. So, don't miss the film.

TeluguOne Perspective:
Baahubali+Baahubali=Baahubali 2
