It is well known that Puri Jagannath has roped Mahesh Babu to play in Telugu version of film The Businessman. According to sources, it is believed that Abhishek Bachchan was quite impressed with storyline of The Businessman when Puri Jagannath narrated to Abhishek and immediately gave his nod without any second thought. Currently Puri Jagannath is shooting Buddah with Big B Amitabh Bachchan and is scheduled to hit big screens next month.

Sources in the industry are inferring that Mahesh Babu pinned lot of hopes on Puri Jagannath's Businessman leaving Shankar's 3 Idiots and Mani Ratnam beside. With Puri Jagannath concentrating much at Bollywood and Mahesh Babu has got no films after his Dookudu, then he would be the first top hero to sit bone-idle. However buzz in the tinsel town is, Puri Jagannath will shoot both versions of the film 'The Businessman' synchronously.
