Suriya’s next with Aavesham director Jithu Madhavan has already become one of the most anticipated Tamil films in production. While the project is still officially being referred to as Suriya 47, fresh industry gossip suggests the makers may have found a fiery title — Saravedi.

According to ongoing buzz in Kollywood circles, the title is being actively considered by the team. Interestingly, the chatter around Saravedi is said to have gained momentum after the word became widely popular through a song in Suriya’s recent film Karuppu, which turned into a strong talking point among fans and audiences.

The title also carries the explosive energy that many associate with both Suriya’s screen image and Jithu Madhavan’s vibrant storytelling style. After delivering cult-level moments with Romancham and Aavesham, expectations are huge for the director’s Tamil debut.

The film is being produced by Suriya’s own banner, Zhagaram Studios, and reports indicate that the project is shaping up as an entertaining commercial outing with a quirky flavour. That said, fans may have to wait before celebrating. As of now, there is no official confirmation from the makers regarding Saravedi. Naslen and Nazriya Fahad Faasil are playing other leading roles in this cop film. Suriya is playing a police officier after Singham 3 in this one.
