Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar appears to have taken matters into his own hands. Months after speculation surrounded his next collaboration with director Adhik Ravichandran, the actor has reportedly decided to bankroll the project himself and move it into production. The film was originally announced during the release phase of Good Bad Ugly, which hit theatres on April 10, 2025, and emerged as a huge blockbuster, further strengthening the actor-director combination. Ever since then, fans have been eagerly waiting for updates regarding their next venture.

The biggest talking point was that producers were hesitant to back the film due to Ajith’s reported remuneration demands, which were said to be significantly high for the current market conditions.
