Dosakaya Curry Recipe

 

 

 

Ingredients

* Dosakaya 1

* Ullikaadalu oka katta

* Sour tomatoes- 4

* Gingergarlic paste 1tsp

* Chopped onions 3/4cup

* Salt as required

* Chilli powder 1tsp

* Dhania powder 1tsp

* Oil 1 or 2 table spoons

* Curry leaves 2 leaflets

* Water-1/4cup

 

Preparation

* Peel ,wash,cut the cucumber into two halves ,remove the seeds,cut the cucumber into small cubes and keep aside.

* Now chop the green onions,tomatoes and keep aside.

* Heat oil in pan and add chopped onions and curry leaves and saute until onion turns golden brown.Now add green onions and saute for 4 minutes ,add ginger garlic paste ,saute for a minute and add the cucumber pieces,saute for 5 minutes and add chilli powder,salt,coriander powder,pinch of turmeric powder,saute for a minute and cover the lid and cook for 3 minutes.

* Now remove the lid,and add chopped tomatoes ,cook for 2 minutes,and cover the lid and cook until the moisture from the cucumber and tomatoes gets evaporated.Now add water and again cook until done.
