Take care of your feet during this winter
During winter, your skins needs extra moisture and so whenever possible, rub a good quality moisturizer on to your heels and the soles of your feet. Make it a point to apply some moisturizer before going to bed
Spare some time every night to cleanse your feet and get to work on them with a pumice stone. It only takes a minute or two. After that, massage with your beloved foot lotion. Concentrate on pressure points on sole of your feet and along the length of your toes.
Some regular tips to be followed, besides cleaning:
Drink loads of water. Keeping our body internally hydrated, which in turn keeps our skin plump and devoid of dryness. Hydration not only aids our skin but also our nails and cuticles. With this in mind, try skipping dehydrating drinks like coffee, sugary soft drinks and alcohol.
1) Give your feet a rest every other day or so and wear flat, comfortable shoes. Squashing them into tight, sky-high heels may look stylish, but they strain your legs and ankles.
2) Wearing socks and keeping our feet covered and protecting them from the harsh elements of the environment.
3) If you are wearing socks, try to stick with natural fabrics, like cotton and wool. Avoid synthetic blends, as they can cause your feet to sweat and smell.
4) Cold weather attracts enumerable bacterial and fungal infections. Keeping nails cleaning and using fresh socks everyday are the small things to be kept in mind.
These small caring tips will add up to your elegance!!
