Why did UV Creations postponed Vishwambhara and Ghaati?

on Jul 5, 2025

UV Creations is one of the biggest production houses in Telugu Cinema. They have made films like Mirchi, Run Raja Run, Bhale Bhale Magadivoy, Bhagamathie, Saaho, Radhe Shyam. But they faced huge losses with Saaho and Radhe Shyam. They announced biggies like Vishwambhara and Ghaati with Megastar Chiranjeevi and Anushka, respectively.

Now, the production house have indefinitely postponed Vishwambhara and Ghaati. They have first announced Vishwambhara for Sankranti release of 2025 and the teaser did not impress anyone. Hence, they have announced that they are re-working on the graphics and will announce the release date only when the output is ready.

They have announced Ghaati for April and then, they have postponed it to July 11th. Currently, they have postponed movie again and did not announce any release date. Why are they facing such a situation? Many inside reports are stating that the production house is facing issues with VFX companies, it seems.

To control the finances, they have given contract of handling their projects to few VFX companies as a whole, it seems. Those companies are facing issues with delivering the output as per expectations and hence, UV Creations have been forced to change companies or give them even more time to complete the work, it seems.

Due to these postponements, they are unable to convince OTT platforms to not cut the overall rights amounts, say reports. They are ready to face such losses but are on serious mission to find a better VFX outlet before they produce another film with Prabhas, on a massive scale, it seems. But for now, they are trying to sort out issues with the delaying VFX companies and until then, they won't give any offical release dates for both the films, it seems.
