Varun Tej has completed his shooting for his upcoming film, Korean Kanakaraju and UV Creations, who are producing it in the direction of Merlapaka Gandhi, have started promotions. Now, he has unfortunately sustained a serious leg injury, causing a sudden halt to his current shooting schedule of his next film. The incident occurred during an intense volleyball practice session for his upcoming rural sports drama, Bhari. 

To authentically portray a professional volleyball player, the actor had been undergoing rigorous and specialized physical training. Following an awkward move on the court, he was immediately taken to Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad for medical attention.  

After a thorough assessment, doctors advised a minor surgery to properly address the leg injury, which is taking place today. While the injury is considered a temporary setback, it certainly highlights the immense physical dedication actors put into perfecting their on-screen roles. Following the surgical procedure, medical professionals have recommended complete bed rest for a few weeks to ensure a full recovery.

Consequently, the production for Bhari, backed by Niharika Konidela, has been temporarily paused and will only resume once the actor is entirely fit. Fans and industry members are expressing concern while praising his commitment to the craft.
