Trendsetting Film Gang Leader script first choice was not Megastar?

It is a well-known fact that in the film industry, the film that has to do with one hero usually passes into the hands of another hero and creates a sensation. Similar things have happened in the case of many super hit movies in the past. However, the same thing happened with Megastar Chiranjeevi's film Gang Leader.

Gang Leader is one of Megastar's biggest hit and a trendsetting film in Tollywood. But he is not the first choice for Gang Leader movie. The director initially intended to make gang leader with another hero. Do you know who they wanted to collaborate with on the film Gang Leader? Likewise, the director-producers wanted to cast Chiranjeevi's Nagababu as the hero.

While Chiranjeevi was still a star, his younger brother Nagababu made his acting debut. However, after seeing Nagababu's performance in Kondaveeti Donga, Parachuri Brothers developed a powerful storyline titled Arey O Samba, which included Naga Babu as the hero.

However, because Nagababu is a newbie, no producers approached him about working on a film. With this, Nagababu informed the Paruchuri Brothers that his brother Chiranjeevi would be a better fit for the script.

While the director, Vijaya Bapineedu, presented the story to Chiranjeevi, Chiranjeevi suggested that the title be changed to Gang Leader, which he did. It should be noted that Nagababu's film Chiranjeevi was a box office success with a different title. However, if Nagababu had done so, the audience felt that the film would not have been as successful.
