Music director Thaman issued an emotional apology after the scheduled OG Tour India concert had to be cancelled due to heavy rain, bringing an abrupt end to weeks of preparation and anticipation around the event.

Sharing his reaction after the cancellation, Thaman spoke about the effort put in behind the scenes and the disappointment felt by the entire crew. “It’s heartbreaking for me & my 56 member team to work on this #OgtourIndia from the last 45 days tirelessly, taking all the feedback in a positive manner,” he wrote.

The composer said the team approached the concert with complete commitment and tried to make the event happen under the best possible circumstances. However, he accepted that some things remain outside anyone’s control. “We as a team took all the good energy in this world to make this concert happen in a positive manner. Sometimes it has to be understood that God has better plans. And I always believe in Him & destiny,” Thaman stated. 

He ended the note with a message to fans, asking them to continue supporting him and promising a stronger return. “All I need now is your love and faith in me… My comebacks are always stronger.” While the show could not go ahead as planned, Thaman made it clear that the OG Tour itself remains very much alive.
