Yash's Toxic has been oscillating between release dates and now, makers have announced 26th August release. Karthi's long awaited Sardar 2 makers have announced 10th September release date. Now, Mandaadi starring Soori and Suhas in leading roles is releasing on 4th September. 

While the period between August last week to mid-September seems lucrative with Milad-un-Nabi, Raksha Bandan, Janmastami, Vinayaka Chavithi holidays makers piling up big budget releases during this period seem to over crowd the market. Mandaadi is being made on a huge budget for a Soori starrer as it is based on a sea sport. 

Toxic and Sardar 2 are big budget star vehicles with Yash returning to screens after KGF 2 and 4 year long hiatus. Sardar 2 is a sequel to Karthi's big blockbuster Sardar. Mandaadi kind of a film needs breathing space as audiences could be saving to watch such big star action entertainers. 

There is a rumor in the industry that makers of Mandaadi are looking at a different release date within September month to avoid competition. With such big releases on either side, makers will struggle to find theatres and sustain them too. So, there are plans to see if Toxic makers suddenly change plans or will stick to release date as they can prepone. At this moment though, Mandaadi makers are concentrating on completing the post production works of their film.
