Sandeep Kishan is gearing up for the release of Sigma, a heist drama directed by Jason Sanjay, son of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay. The film marks Jason Sanjay’s directorial debut, with Faria Abdullah playing the female lead. The team recently interacted with the press as part of the promotional campaign for the October 2 release.
Speaking about the film, Sandeep Kishan described Sigma as an original and entertaining ride with a relatable story and emotional core. He said he was impressed by Jason Sanjay’s script, passion and clarity as a filmmaker. The actor also revealed that Jason planned to complete the film in 70 days but wrapped up the shoot in just 63 days.
Jason Sanjay said, "Sigma revolves around a man fighting for his identity and is designed as a character-driven film with a fun heist narrative." He added that he wrote the screenplay with universal appeal in mind rather than limiting it to a particular language or audience.

The director also spoke about learning filmmaking and screenplay writing during his studies, while crediting his grandfather, director S. A. Chandrasekhar, for teaching him about handling film sets and time management.
Sandeep Kishan praised Jason’s confidence and approach, stating that the director brought exactly what he had written onto the screen. Produced by Lyca Productions, Sigma had been delayed due to Vijay's final film, Jana Nayagan release but it is getting huge release now. Mythri Distribution is releasing it in Telugu.
