Arjun Sarja has decided to introduce his daughter Aishwarya Arjun as leading lady with Seetha Payanam. The movie created buzz due to Vishwak Sen walking out. Now, the movie released on 14th February, 2026 for Valentine's Day weekend. With Anup Rubens composing music and Sai Madhav Burra writing dialogues, the gathered good momentum before release. Let's discuss about it in detail.

Plot:

Seetha (Aishwarya Arjun), who is highly efficient as a chef, doesn't want to get married or settle down. Her father (Satyaraj) worries about her well-being. She decides to go to Hyderabad for a chef workshop and in the drive, she meets Abhi (Niranjan) and slowly becomes his friend. She encounters Giri (Arjun Sarja) and different people. Due to these encounters, she reaches workshop 30 seconds later and escapes a freak accident that would have killed her. So, she decides to go and thank everyone who caused the delay on her road trip. Whom does he encounter? What role does Abhi play in all this? Watch the movie to know more.

Analysis:

Arjun Sarja did direct blockbusters starring him in the lead roles. His prowess in directing action sequences resulted in them becoming big hits. Now, he decided to launch his own daughter but the problem lies in his outdated scene writing and execution. He had some very good ideas and very necessary points to say but the emotional touch and impact that these ideas require is missing.

Things go haywire from the beginning and even though there are good portions they are sparse. The scene writing and handling has been more or more less very old school that young audiences cannot connect with. He looks to pack the movie with songs and lengthy dialogues and good characters but the scenes needed to be interesting. The screenplay needed to follow fresh and novel ideas.

Aishwarya Arjun tried her best and rest of the cast handled the scenes easily. As the writing is too old school, the film feels jaded and dated. Arjun's cameo, Dhruv's cameo and all are packed back to back that they lose any sort of impact at all. Overall, the movie is hampered by over indulgence of the makers. Seetha tried hard to reach her destination but needed a better ride to take her to it.

Positives:

Production values are good
Aishwarya looks good
Few ideas are well-intentioned.

Negatives:

Outdated execution
Lethargic Screenplay
Music and BGM
Dragged scenes

Bottomline:

Good Intentions need better writing and excecution.

Rating: 2/5
