May 22, 2026 5:40PM

Presented under the banner of GMB Entertainment by Superstar Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar, and brought to life in collaboration with A+S Movies and SriChakraas Entertainments, Rao Bahadur marks another intriguing venture for actor Satya Dev. Venkatesh Maha, known for his bold cinematic language, not only directs but also pens and edits the movie. Buzz around the film has steadily intensified, fueled by the striking glimpse and the much-loved track O Sundari. With its graceful visuals and evocative melody, the song has beautifully evoked a bygone era, significantly amplifying early excitement for the project.

The makers have come up with a BTS glimpse- Into The World Of Rao Bahadur, offering a fascinating window into the massive scale of the production. The video chronicles the rigorous pre-production, intricate prosthetics work, and grand-scale filming schedules that define this ambitious project. The video highlights a film that promises to be a visually striking, character-driven theatrical experience.

The major attraction of the footage is the astonishing physical transformation of Satya Dev. It captures the actor arriving on set and stepping straight into his vanity van to undergo a meticulous makeup and styling process.

To bring his aging, regal character to life, a team of expert technicians is seen skillfully applying a bald cap, blending specialized prosthetics, and seamlessly attaching a long, graying mane paired with a thick beard and a prominent, curled handlebar mustache. Complete with custom contact lenses and an elite wardrobe featuring an ornate purple sherwani, heavy pearl necklaces, and a traditional turban, Satya Dev fully embodies the majestic aura of a bygone era. The video shows different looks of the actor in the movie.

Beyond the actor’s transformation, the glimpse sheds light on the massive production values and technical craftsmanship being poured into the film. Viewers are taken onto lavish, antique-themed indoor sets, and extensive outdoor locations. It also teases intense stunt preparation, underscoring the dynamic narrative flow planned by the director.

Deepa Thomas plays the female lead, while Vikas Muppala, Bala Parasar, Anand Bharathi, Pranay Vaka, and Master Kiran appear in key roles. On the technical front, the film is powered by an impressive crew- cinematography by Kartik Parmar Kartik Parmar, music by Smaran Sai Smaran Sai, and production design by Rohan Singh Rohan Singh.

Rao Bahadur sets the stage for a world rich in heritage, mystery, and the unsettling remnants of an aristocratic past. With themes rooted in legacy and long-buried secrets, the film aims to offer a gripping experience. Only 6 more Fridays to go before you experience the madness of Rao Bahadur in theatres on July 3rd.
