Shiva Kumar Kasaram and Swetha Lakshman starrer Sahaa is heading for its theatrical release with positive censor reports. Directed by Nishanth Doti and produced by Tejeswar Velpucharla, the romantic drama has completed its censor formalities with a U/A 13+ certificate and zero cuts. The film has a runtime of 2 hours and 28 minutes and is slated to release on September 4.

As per the reports, Sahaa keeps things light and entertaining in the first half with a breezy love story, humour and strong nostalgic elements. Shiva Kumar and Swetha Lakshman are said to be the major strengths of the film, with their performances helping the youthful romantic portions connect well with the audience.

The film reportedly takes a significant turn after the interval, moving away from its lighter mood and developing into an intense emotional drama. The final 40 minutes are said to be the major highlight, with the screenplay exploring deeper relationships and pushing the lead actors into emotionally demanding situations.
