Filmmaker SS Rajamouli surprised the makers of the upcoming film Sing Geetham by purchasing its very first ticket online as soon as advance bookings opened. Producer Nag Ashwin and music director Devi Sri Prasad had planned to video call Rajamouli to officially open the bookings with him, only to discover he had already booked his ticket independently.

During the subsequent interaction, Rajamouli also joined the duo in singing a few lines of the song Emayyindi Emayyindi to help announce that the ticketing portals were live. The film, a musical fantasy where characters primarily communicate through song, stars newcomers Ayaan, Ahilya, and Shalini Kondepudi.

Directed by 94-year-old veteran filmmaker Singeetham Srinivasa Rao and produced by Nag Ashwin, Sing Geetham is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on June 12th. Ayaan, Ahilya, Shalini Kondepudi are playing leading roles in this musical fantasy adventure.
