The Telugu version of Jai Jai Ram, the first song from Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash starrer Ramayana, has been released. The track takes a devotional approach, presenting an invocation of Lord Ram through a blend of traditional prayer elements and a larger cinematic sound.
A.R. Rahman has composed the song, with Deepali Sahay and Raghav Kaushik on vocals. The Telugu lyrics have been penned by Rakendu Mouli, with the makers paying particular attention to retaining the devotional character of the original Hindi version while adapting it for Telugu audiences.
Producer Namit Malhotra and Rahman have previously highlighted the importance of keeping the emotional and spiritual core of the song intact despite the film’s massive scale. Rakendu Mouli has also described the track as an expression of the bond between a devotee and Lord Ram.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana is being produced by Namit Malhotra and Monster Mind Creations. The film has already generated significant attention following its trailer, which reportedly crossed one billion views within six days. Ramayana is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release during Diwali 2026.
