Nani and director Srikanth Odela came together for their recent release, The Paradise. The movie is said to have crossed Rs.50 crores gross in Nizam, a first for Nani and it recovered 80% of the pre-release business theatrical rights amounts till date. Now, they both have visited the Medaram Sammakka-Sarakka shrine and fulfilled their vows by offering niluvethu bangaram, Thulabharam to the tribal goddesses.

Both Nani and Srikanth Odela offered the traditional bangaram equivalent to their respective body weights as part of the ritual. Producer Sudhakar Cherukuri also joined them to visit Medaram Jathara. The offering is a significant tradition at Medaram, where bangaram refers to jaggery and not actual gold. 

Devotees traditionally offer jaggery equivalent to their body weight as an expression of devotion and gratitude. The practice is also known as Tulabharam. The actor and director did use Sammakka and Sarakka names in the movie. They visited the temple to fulfill their vows.
