Nagabhandham, the upcoming mythological fantasy film directed and produced by Abhishek Nama, has completed its OTT and satellite business ahead of release. According to the makers, the film’s OTT rights have been acquired by Amazon Prime Video. Telugu satellite rights have gone to MAA TV, while ZEE TV has secured satellite rights for Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada languages.

The development has drawn attention within trade circles as the OTT and satellite market has remained selective in recent months, with several films taking longer to close post-theatrical deals. In that context, Nagabhandham managing to complete its non-theatrical business ahead of release has become a talking point.

Starring Virat Karrna in the lead role, the film has been promoted as a large-scale visual spectacle with elements of mythology, spirituality and fantasy. The promotional material released so far has generated curiosity among audiences.

Backed by NIK Studios, the project is being positioned as Abhishek Nama’s ambitious venture and features a large ensemble cast. Nagabhandham is scheduled to release worldwide on 3rd July.
