Tabu is officially teaming up with Tollywood star Nagarjuna for his highly anticipated 100th film, tentatively titled King 100. The duo, who previously shared the screen in the 1996 romantic hit Ninne Pelladatha, are coming together after a gap of 28 years. Tabu recently confirmed the news on social media, sharing a picture of a clapperboard from Annapurna Studios to mark the beginning of the shoot.  

Directed by Ra. Karthik, the milestone project has been steadily building momentum. Nagarjuna earlier mentioned that Tabu was eager to be part of his 100th film as soon as she heard about it, emphasizing their long-standing professional bond. However, fans expecting a recreation of their classic 90s romance might be surprised, as Nagarjuna clarified they will not be romantically paired in this film.

 

He plays the title role, while Tabu takes on a crucial character, with two other actresses set to play the romantic leads. The shoot has officially commenced and progressing rapidly. Heavily rumored to be an action-driven narrative under the working title Asurudu, the film is expected to have a wide, multi-language release, promising a fresh cinematic outing for the veteran actors.
