NTR (Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao) is a history. He was dignified & a great person in the Telugu community. It is really a great responsibility on the shoulders of the person making this movie. Director Krish Jagarlamudi has taken this responsibility on his shoulders & NTR’s son Nandamuri Balakrishna has performed the lead role as NTR. How have they performed as a team? Has the biopic lived upto the expectations? Let us read the review.
Story:
Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (Balakrishna), resigned for three weeks from his job at the Registrar's Office in Vijayawada because he did not like the corrupt employees there. What will you do at home after resigning? When he was asked this question at home – NTR said that he would become an Actor & left to Madras. So how was his journey as an actor? How was NTR’s relation with Akkineni Nageswara Rao in the industry? Why did the successful actor NTR plan to enter politics? What inspired him to enter politics? Was his decision to enter politics appreciated in his family? How well did his family members support him? Answers to all this question forms the movie story.
Analysis:
People know NTR as an actor. But how was he as a family member? How was his relationship with his wife Basavatarakam? Is shown in the movie. Except for the movie duration, Director Krish & his team have done 100% work for the movie. The songs composed by M M Keeravani are melodious & the audience will feel like listening to them again & again. Background music is also good. Cinematography is very good. Some of the personal life incidents of NTR will bring tears and hit the audience hard.

Performances:
It takes a lot of guts to play the role of the legendary NTR & to look like him. But with the support of Krish, Nandamuri Balakrishna has done justice to his character in the movie. Due to his age, the young NTR’s look did not suit Balakrishna much. Other than that, he has done his best in the movie. Actress Vidhya Balan as NTR’s wife Basavatarakam, Kalyan Ram as Nandamuri Harikrishna have done a good job. Murli Sharma, Prakash Raj, Senior Naresh, Vennela Kishore and all others have performed well in the movie. Sumanth as Akkineni Nageswara Rao was a perfect fit for the role. Audience will feel like they are watching ANR again on the silver screen.
Daggubati Rana, Rakul Preet Singh, Pranita, Nithya Menon, Shriya, Hansika, Brahmanandam, Shalini Pandey, Nasser and all the others as guests shined well.

If you compare the movie “NTR Kathanayakudu” just as a movie & try to understand the story, one can find many mistakes. But as a biopic, it will tell many unknown things about the legendary NTR.
