Nandamuri Balakrishna’s next with Gopichand Malineni is finally set to break its biggest suspense. The makers of the yet-untitled NBK111 have announced that the film’s official title and release date will be unveiled on September 6, ending the wait that has been building since the birthday glimpse.

The glimpse had already generated strong buzz with Balakrishna sporting a noticeably younger look, along with his trademark massy style, swagger and high-energy action sequences. The latest promotional video, “Who Let the Lion Out?”, has added further momentum, with S Thaman delivering another high-octane score designed perfectly around Balakrishna’s image.

Thaman has become a key part of the sound and presentation of Balakrishna’s recent films, particularly after Akhanda, and the makers are once again leaning heavily on that combination of mass visuals and thumping music. The title announcement is therefore expected to be more than a routine reveal, with the film’s release date also being positioned as a major statement.

Directed by Gopichand Malineni, NBK111 is being mounted on a massive scale by producer Venkata Satish Kilaru. Manchu Manoj and Kajal Aggarwal are playing prominent roles in the film, which is shaping up as a stylish action entertainer built around Balakrishna’s larger-than-life screen presence.

Balakrishna is currently recovering from his recent leg surgery and has been taking rest for a complete recovery. Once he is ready to return, the makers are planning a non-stop shooting schedule to complete the remaining portions.
