Bindhu Madhavi to work in a layered character in Dhandoraa

on Apr 14, 2025

One of the prestigious banners in the Telugu film industry, Loukya Entertainments, led by passionate producer Ravindra Banerjee Muppaneni, is known for delivering critically acclaimed and commercially successful films, “Colour Photo” and “Bedurulanka 2012”. The production house is now returning with yet another promising film titled "Dhandoraa".

Dhandoraa is a compelling village drama set in the backdrop of rural Telangana that delves deep into the harsh realities and existing social evils in our society. The film features a powerful ensemble cast including Shivaji, Navdeep, Nandu, Ravi Krishna, Manika Chikkala, Mounica Reddy, Bindu Madhavi, Raadhya, among others.

The team is currently shooting the second schedule in Dharipally village, located in the Medak district of Telangana. Actor Shivaji has joined the sets in this schedule. Another lead cast member of the film, Bindu Madhavi, has also joined the sets in this schedule and begun shooting for her part.

The makers have unveiled the first look of Bindu Madhavi from the film and revealed that she plays a poignant and layered character named "Sreelatha", a prostitute and mother to a young daughter. Unlike conventional portrayals of prostitutes in cinema, Sreelatha is a character with emotional depth, philosophical insight, and no intimate scenes. Her journey in the film is a reflection on life and resilience, making it one of the most mature and memorable roles in Bindu Madhavi’s career.

The recently released "First Beat" teaser of Dhandoraa has garnered a terrific response from audiences and also increased excitement around the film. More details about the movie will be announced in the coming days.
