The ongoing dispute between actor Silambarasan and producer Isari Ganesh has finally reached an amicable resolution. The issue, which had halted the progress of his upcoming film Arasan and his ad film shoots, was settled after the actor's parents, T. Rajender and Usha Rajender, held direct discussions with the producer.
To clear the roadblocks, a total compensation of ₹6.5 crores was agreed upon. Simbu will pay ₹4 crores towards the settlement, while Arasan producer Thanu will cover the remaining ₹2.5 crores. With this major hurdle cleared, Simbu is ready to resume his work without further delays. He will first complete his pending commitments for an ad film.
Following that, he will return to the sets of Arasan. Director Vetrimaaran has planned long, continuous schedules to wrap up the project quickly, aligning with Simbu's goal to have at least two theatrical releases next year.
Simbu will start his next film with director Aswath Marimuthu, known for Oh My Kadavule and Dragon, post Arasan. The director has already completed the script, and shooting is expected to begin around August or September this year, bringing the recent roadblocks to a definitive end.
