The teaser of Anumana Pakshi, starring Rag Mayur and directed by DJ Tillu filmmaker Vimal Krishna, has been released. Rather than revealing the plot upfront, the teaser spends most of its runtime introducing the unusual world of its lead character and the situations that surround him.
Rag Mayur appears as a man who doubts everything and everyone around him. His constant suspicion seems to irritate even his own parents, who appear more interested in getting him married and moving him out than solving his problems. The setup creates much of the teaser’s early humour for this 10th July release.
Things begin to shift when a woman enters his life and seems willing to accept him with all his eccentricities intact. But just as the teaser settles into relationship comedy, it takes a different turn. Ajay’s entry as a police officer and the presence of Raasi introduce another layer to the narrative. Their interactions hint that there could be more happening beneath the surface than the lead character’s overthinking, pushing the teaser towards investigative and thriller territory.
The teaser moves between comedy, suspicion and moments of tension without revealing where exactly the story is headed. Vimal Krishna appears to be building the film around character behaviour first and genre later. Backed by Rajiv Chilaka along with Hirachand Dand and Rajesh Jagtiani, Anumana Pakshi leaves behind enough questions while holding back its bigger reveals.
