10 mins Standing Ovation at Cannes for Madhavan's film 'Rocketry'

Madhavan's directorial debut "Rocketry: The Nambi Effect" had its grand premiere at the Cannes Film festival 2022. Madhavan and ISRO's genius and space scientist Nambi Narayanan made a grand entry on the red carpet. The film is based on scientist Nambi Narayanan. The screening of the film was greeted with applause, not only that it received a standing ovation for the entire 10 minutes.

 

Reacting to the appreciation his film received at the film festival, actor-turned-director Madhavan said in a statement, "I am overwhelmed and excited. It is a proud moment for all of us at Team Rocketry. For this I am humbled and grateful. Thank you for all your love and support. The film is set for release on July 1.

 

Rocketry: The Nambi Effect' produced by Tiranga Films, Verghese Mulan Pictures and 27th Investments, and will be distributed in India by UFO Movies and Red Giant Movies in India and internationally by Yash Raj Films and Fars Film Company. It will release worldwide on July 1 in six languages ​​including Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.

 

Staged on a large scale, 'Rocketry: The Nambi Effect' has been shot in India, France, Canada, Georgia and Serbia. The film stars international actors like Phyllis Logan, Vincent Ryota and Ron Donachi, with superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Suriya in special roles.
