HanuMan makers bought Double iSmart Theatrical rights for whopping amount?

Double Ismart in the blockbuster combination of Ustaad Ram Pothinenin and Dashing Director Puri Jagannadh is getting ready for its theatrical release on August 15th as Independence Day special. Meanwhile, the entire shoot of the movie has been completed. The post-production works are also underway.

Puri Jagannadh and Charmee Kaur are in plans to sell off the theatrical rights to a single buyer as they had bitter experiences for Liger. Suresh Babu and Asian Suniel quoted Rs 36 crores for the theatrical rights of Double iSmart excluding North India. But the makers are quoting Rs 63 crores for the theatrical rights of the film.

Now, Hanuman producer Niranjan Reddy came up with the highest quote for the film. Finally, Primeshow Entertainment has picked up worldwide theatrical rights all languages except Hindi version + North India of Double Ismart for Rs. 60 crores (54 crores NRA (non returnable advance) and ₹6 crores returnable advance).

Primeshow will make 20% commission after recovering Rs.60 crores. Primeshow Entertainment has produced the biggest hit of the year Hanuman and its latest film Darling is up for release on 19 July. Double ISmart is releasing on 15 August

The makers kick-started the musical promotions with the mass song of the year- Steppa Maar. The second single is coming this week. Double Ismart is one of the highly anticipated Pan-Indian Projects and the much-awaited sequel for Ismart Shankar. Produced by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur in Puri Connects Banner, the movie stars Sanjay Dutt in a powerful role and Kavya Thapar as the leading lady opposite Ram.
