Khushbu says her role in RamaBanam is the same as she is in real life

After delivering two blockbusters Lakshyam and Loukyam, Macho star Gopichand and director Sriwass are reuniting for another action entertainer, their hattrick project titled Rama Banam. Dimple Hayati plays the female lead in the film produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Vivek Kuchibhotla under People Media Factory.

The film will be releasing worldwide in theatres on May 5th. Today the gorgeous and talented actress Khusbu Sundar garu interacted with media about the films and lot more. In this interview, she says that she doesn't play a character if she doesn't understand it. In 'Rama Banam', she will be seen as a courageous person who is a lot like how Khushbu is in real life. "I can't take it if my family is disrespected. I become a tigress if my family is targeted. That way, Bhuvaneshwari is what I am like in real life."

This is her first outing with Gopichand and she made lot of films with Jagapathi Babu. Talking about the working experience with them, she says 'On the last day of shooting, Gopichand and I realized that we didn’t exchange contact details or click pictures together. Though he is a reserved person on set, he is mischievous too and brings that aspect into his roles. Gopichand is also from Madras. So, that connection was there and we used to interact in Tamil on set. When it comes to Jagapathi Babu, I have known him for a long time, and I have also worked for two films in his father's production house.'

Talking about the film she said, "The film is very close to my heart. The value of relationships is the most important takeaway for me from the film. It’s not always about earning, but what matter is holding your loved ones together. My character promotes the importance of organic and traditional food. 'Rama Banam' touches upon this message, among others. A family that stays together in times of crisis with good health, is the one that lasts.

Talking about the chances missed, she said 'I was supposed to do Venkatesh's 'Chanti' but coudln't do it for want of dates. That's one beautiful film that I missed back then. I was jealous when I couldn't do 'Cheeni Kum' (Hindi). I am jealous that Tabu got to romance Amitabh Bachchan. To this day, I have got Big B's pictures in my room. I am a huge fan of his. When I was a child artist, I got to sit on his lap in a film.' She also reveals that she would love to romance Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna onscreen. "These are the only two heroes I never got to work with," Khushbu avers.

Audience mindset changed recently and they remember characters more than artists, Khushbu says while talking about the roles she wanted to do. "I did 'Agnyathavaasi' but the audience didn't accept me and Pawan Kalyan in a mother-adopted son role. My character in 'Vaarasudu/Varisu' was a 18-minute role that was making the running time of the movie longer. So, they edited the whole thing despite Dil Raju spending so much money on my portions with Thalapathy Vijay. I want to work more and more in Telugu. The length of my character is not important. But it has to be important.

Talking about the controversies surrounding she said, "The media writes about me only because they know writing about me sells. I don't believe that any publicity is good publicity. These days, everybody wants me to be judgemental based on half-baked online information. People don't really know what I really am as a person."

She is confident that this role will be a good one and she is all praises for People Media Factory's production values and how they take care artists on and off the sets. The actress also talked about director's prowess and his connection with family entertainers.
