Average Opening and disastrous collections in Nizam?

Vijay Deverakonda's movie "Family Star" released worldwide yesterday. This family entertainer started receiving mixed reviews from the US premiers itself and everyone declared that it is an average entertainer.

Even though Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur and Dilraju did good promotions for the film, it doesn't got the buzz. On the other side, the negative reviews effected badly on Day 1. The film's Nizam 1st day share is around 1.5 Cr without GST. The film got poor opening ceded, it grossed ₹0.5 Cr.

Even with all the trolling and reviews, the families are flocked into theatres to witness the emotions and familial values. The evening shows were promising which helped the film. The film grossed almost 6 crores on Day 1 which is less than his previous film Kushi.

A disappointing start for the wholesome entertainer. The film needs to pickup and weekend flow of general audience is extremely important. We have to wait until weekend to know the actual response for the film.

The movie "Family Star" is produced by the star producers Dil Raju and Sirish under the banner of the prestigious production company Sri Venkateswara Creations. Successful director Parasuram Petla is at the helm. Mrunal Thakur stars as the heroine opposite Vijay. Vasu Varma is the creative producer of this film.
