Victory Venkatesh’s milestone 75th film Saindhav with the very talented director Sailesh Kolanu is done with all the formalities and the unique action and family entertainer is all set for a grand release on January 13th for Sankranthi.
As the release date nearing, makers released the theatrical trailer. The trailer opens on a pleasant note with the baby dancing and imitating her father to nice and breezy music. This establishes the rapport between father and daughter. While his daughter is everything to the father, he is a superhero to the girl.
Unfortunately, she is diagnosed with a rare disease called Spinal Muscular Atrophy. The injection vail to cure the disease costs 15 Cr. Thus, the protagonist decides to revisit his old friends and opponents. What was he in the past? What was his violent past to do with the batch of baddies played by Arya, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, etc?
Director Sailesh Kolanu who maintained secrecy over the plotline of the movie has finally revealed it through the trailer. As the trailer suggests, the baby is the soul of the movie. A father who chooses to walk the path of peace for his daughter decides to go a violent way for her.
Venkatesh carries the film on his shoulders as SaiKo. His screen presence brings joy to the fans among class and mass sections. While he appeared a typical middle-class father, he looked wild when he fought his enemies. The last two episodes are bang-on, where Venkatesh warns in his style.
The director extracted best work not just from his actors, but from his technicians as well. S.Manikandan’s visuals complement the narrative so well and his choice of colors needs to be appreciated. Santosh Narayanan’s music supports the film so much. It’s almost like the spine of the film. The production standards of Venkat Boyanapalli’s Niharika Entertainment are lavish all through.
The trailer that assured Saindhav to be a gripping action thriller with elements to cater to the family audience has raised the bar for the movie.
