Writer director Vakkantham Vamsi is eagerly awaiting for his upcoming release Extra starring dynamic actor Nithiin, who is currently in USA busy with the promotions. Sreeleela played female lesd role. The film is bankrolled by Sudhakar Reddy and Nikitha Reddy under Sreshth Movies in collaboration with Aditya Movies and Entertainments and Ruchira Entertainments.

The film's writer, dispelled rumours of its shelving and assured that it’s still in the works. Balancing Pawan Kalyan’s commitments to ongoing movies and political responsibilities, the project is expected to take more time before it takes shape.
