Analysis

Love stories and that too between youngsters are always common but the way they are presented with the right emotion and feel is important. This film has been made with a lot of caution and focus is more towards providing a clean romantic treat than spicing it up with some comedy or entertainment values. For instance, the film doesn’t really get into the track till the first thirty minutes and runs flatly. Few scenes between Tarun and Avika get repetitive. But the backdrop, the taking and the balanced performances from everyone actually made the film stable and create a good feel. Though it is not a film which is extraordinary it is also not a film which can be trashed.

Telugu One Perspective

The fact that the film is made at a very modest budget is clear but the director took care not to show any frame in inferior quality. The script didn’t have anything special but the screenplay was managed effectively. The first half should have been more energetic as the takeoff scenes were not that strong. Though things were good in the second half it would have been better if the ending was landed properly without closing things suddenly.

Performances

Raj Tarun has done a good job though it is his debut performance but then one cannot tag him as a hero material. He suits well for boy next door roles. Avika comes with some reputation because of her ‘Chinnari Pelli Koothuru’ background but she doesn’t look out of place. Anita Chowdary carried her role with maturity. Ravi Varma was good. Punarnavi was seductive. Gangadhar created some impact. Subbarao Kiriti was also impressive.

Technicalities

The main asset for the film is the cinematography which was handled with care and good colors. The background score was good and songs by M R Sunny had enough melody but since they were not situational the impact was less. Dialogues were regular with some consistency without much fun factor.
