Adding surnames to the song lyrics have become quite routine for Tollywood top heroes these days. Firstly, it was King Akkineni Nagarjuna who started the trend with 'Akkineni...Akkineni' song in his movie 'Auto Driver'

This was later followed by Nandamuri Balakrishna with the song lyric 'Nandamuri Nayakaa' in 'Samarasimha Reddy'.

Next to follow the bandwagon of 'surname in lyric' is Young Tiger Jr NTR in his movie 'Samba' which has a song with the lyric 'Nandamuri Chandamama'.

The trend was continued by Allu Arjun in the movie 'Arya'. The film has a super hit item song 'Aa ante Amalapuram...' with lyric 'Allu vari Pillagada Allukora Sandekada'.

Next the trend was followed by Mega Power star 'Ram Charan Teja' with the song lyric 'Konidala Vari Kodaka'. in Racha.

However, the actors are instructing the writers to pen the lyrics with their surnames or is it just a coincidence?  Despite being big stars do they really need to include their surnames in the lyrics, Why this Kolaveri of surnames?
