Tillu Square Day 2 Tillu Sensation continues at box office

Buoyed by the positive word-of-mouth and glowing reviews, Tillu Square, front-lined by Siddu Jonnalagadda, has maintained its box office momentum into its first Saturday as well. After collecting a gross of Rs 23.7 crore on day one, the film added another Rs 21.6 crore to its tally on the second day, taking the overall gross to an impressive Rs 45.3 crore.

In North America, the film continues to be a big rage. Saturday was another strong day for the film as its hourly gross at 7 pm PST stood at $ 436k. It crossed a gross of $ 1.4 million in North America so far and is racing towards the $ 2million mark.

Directed by Mallik Ram, Tillu Square, co-starring Anupama Parameswaran, Muralidhar Goud, Prince, Murali Sharma and Udhbav Raghunandan, is a romantic crime comedy. It is a sequel to the 2022 hit film DJ Tillu which starred Siddu and Neha Shetty. Naga Vamsi and Saij Soujanya have jointly produced the film, while Ram Miryala and Achu Rajamani scored the music, with Bheems Ceciroleo chipping in for background score.

Tillu’s characterisation, rib-tickling humour, catchy one-liners and peppy songs have worked in favour of the film big time. Thrilled to bits with the response, the makers have announced Tillu Cube as well. However, work on it will begin after Siddu completes his commitments with Bommarillu Baskar and Nandini Reddy.
