Home  »  News  »  The Raja Saab Trailer: Prabhas welcomes into new-age horror world

Updated : Dec 29, 2025

The Raja Saab starring Prabhas, Sanjay Dutt, Malavika Mohanan, Riddhi Kumar, Niddhi Agerwal has been one of the highly under promoted films of the actor's career post Baahubali. Radhe Shyam, Aadipurush did look like disasters from get-go but the promotions were great. The makers of Raja Saab are trying to change the impression with release trailer.

This trailer presents the story more rather than the glossy visuals. We see Prabhas trying to fight with his own grandfather who took over his property from his grandmother Ganga Devi. His fight seems internal as the castle is designed to push people into hallucinations and it is hard to fight the master of deception.

But the makers are use horror elements like ghost haunting and appearing at different places while giving a scientific definition and reasoning to everything. Prabhas masculinity in the character and his soft-touch, mainly, his looks as the Joker and The Raja Saab does excite but the story looks too simple, thin.

Still, makers are betting heavily on the visuals and Pan-India visibility of Prabhas. Zarina Wahab's role and comedy by the leading actor becomes key for families to enjoy the film in theatres for Sankranti. The movie is directed by Maruthi Dasari and produced by TG Vishwa Prasad on People Media Factory, scheduled for 9th Jan release.
