A film creating controversy and sensation all over the country since last few days and that is "The Kerala Story" starring actress Adah Sharma, Siddhi Idnani and others. 

The strong reactions on the trailer and the movie from public and courts reminds the The Kashmir Files controversy. Still the film became blockbuster and collected more than 100 crores at the box office.

Now the film The Kerala Story has gone to the extent of banning and stopping the release of the film, but the film has been released in theaters in other regions except for several languages.

But interestingly the film released yesterday, trade sources say that the film has registered India wide solid openings on the first day. This film which was released as a limited release has got a total opening of 8 crores.
