Summer heat has already started and the Telugu films are lined up to entertain the audience in this season. NTR's Baadshah, Venkatesh's 'Shadow' and Nagarjuna starrer 'Greeku Veerudu' are the main attractions this summer and all these three movies have one thing in common, I.e SS Thaman. Yes, Thaman has composed the music for all these three big flicks.

Just like many other composers, Thaman started his music career at the age of nine. He worked with famous music directors like Raj-Koti, MM Keeravani, Vandemataram Srinivas, RP Patnaik, Chakri, Devi Sri Prasad, but it was with Mani Sharma with whom he worked for nearly six years.

Thaman made his debut as an actor with Shankar's 'Boys movie and exactly after 5 years, he composed his first film 'Bheebatsam' (Sindhanai Sei in Tamil). Thaman's composition for 'Kick' movie was very well appreciated and he earned his musch needed break with NTR starrer 'Brindavanam'.

'Dookudu' and 'Business Man' movies have promoted Thaman into the big league music directors in Telugu. 2013 will a memorable year for Thaman as he got some projects under his name. Apart from the 3 big movies which are yet to be released, Thaman scored music for the first hit of 2013, 'Naayak'.

Thaman's future projects include 'Gouravam' with Allu Sirish, Race Gurram (Tittle Not confirmed) with Allu Arjun, Balupu with Ravi Teja and an untitled project with NTR-Harish Shankar. Though there is some criticism on Thaman's music, most of the songs composed by him have made it to the chart busters list. Let us wish this young composer loads of luck in his music journey.
