Thala Ajith Birthday Mankatha out Billa Re Releasing?

Re-releases trend reached Tamil cinema. With Vijay's blockbuster re release, Ghilli raking Rs 20 crore at the box office in the last week, re-releases are a blessing in disguise for theatre owners this summer as people have resorted to the Indian Premier League and election news.

Come May 1, which marks Ajith's birthday, the actor's 2007 blockbuster Billa is all set for a grand re-release. While it was Mankatha, which was scheduled for a re-release originally, there seems to be a change of plans.

Starring Thala Ajith Kumar in the lead role, Mankatha is an action thriller written and directed by Venkat Prabhu. The movie was first released in 2011 and was a super-duper success. After all these years, this entertainer is ready to enthrall the fans once again in theatres in a revised 4K version. The new release date will be announced soon.

Mr. Aravind Suresh Kumar & Dr. Gnana Barathi of GB Entertainment are releasing Billa across 150+ Screens through ATM Productions across Tamil Nadu on May 1st, 2024. Ajith Kumar’s Billa holds a stupendous record at the box office for its stylish presentation by Vishnuvardhan.

Ajith Kumar’s dual role along with the ravishing screen presence of Nayanthara, and other artistes, embellished with the spectacular visuals of Nirav Shah and a power-packed musical score by Yuvan Shankar Raja endowed an unforgettable cinematic treat for the audiences.
