So what’s Tollywood without masala? Yes! The year 2011 may not have been a year for masala and high voltage action entertainers but you can see all those coming your way in 2012. Tollywood’s top heroes are now looking to experiment and showcase their new outlook whilst retaining the same masala flavour.
Starting the Tollywood fever is Prince and Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Businessman. The movie is coming with umpteen expectations and giving a strong run for this movie is Venkatesh’s Bodyguard and Sunil’s Poola Rangadu. Competing next are Ravi Teja’s Nippu and Balakrishna’s Adhinayakudu. Both the movies are tipped to be massy entertainers locking horns with powerful titles. And incidentally, both the heroes have opted out of Pongal race.
NTR’s Dammu, Ram Charan’s Rachcha, Pawan Kalyan’s Gabbar Singh, Prabhas Rebel, Naga Chaitanya’s ‘Autonagar Surya’, etc. are few action entertainers that can keep the masses going. These movies have already reaped prodigious inquisitiveness and engendered immense build-up at the production level itself. No doubt these movies come big in terms of release as each movie tries to batter the other.
Nagarjuns’s Damarukam and Mahesh – Venkatesh’s multi starrer movies are yet another release to look forward in terms of experimental ones. Daggubati Rana’s ‘Naa Istham’, Ram Charan’s Yevadu and NTR-Seenu Vailta’s Action are also one of the much awaited flicks of the year 2012. With so many movies starring top heroes lined up for release in 2012, let’s hope these films turn out to be a money spinner and generate great revenue for Tollywood.
