Telugu cinema King Akkineni Nagarjuna's upcoming Telugu movie Damarukam started shooting on the city outskirts of Hyderabad. The first schedule of this Dhamarukam movie started from June 6 in Bramaramba Mallikarjuna temple near BHEL. This schedule is expected to be continued for few days where Dhamarukam unit would film scenes on important crew for few holy scenes.

Sources say that the Damarukhm unit is filming scenes on Anushka, Brahmaji and other actors were participating in the shoot. Akkineni Nagarjuna would join the shooting shortly. Damarukam shooting was recently held in Switzerland where the unit filmed a song on Nagarjuna and Anusha. Nagarjuna's Damarukam movie is directed Srinivas Reddy and produced by Venkat under RR Movie Makers banner. It was also reported that Simran is playing a cameo in Damarukam. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music and Chota K Naidu is the cameraman.
