Comedians have been playing a greater role in the Telugu films success from some time. Some of the blockbuster movies had main comedians playing the role equivalent to that of the leading actors. A leading national daily have revealed the remuneration list of these comedians and the below rates are not for the entire film but for a single day.

Ali : 2.5-3 lakhs
MS Narayana : 1-2 lakhs
Dharmavarapu Subramanyam : 1-2 lakhs
Posani Krishna Murali : 1-2 lakhs
Raghu Babu : 1-2 lakhs
Krishna Bhagwan : 1-2 lakhs
Jayaprakash Reddy : 1 lakh
Vennela Kishore : 50k-1lakh
Srinivas Reddy : 50k-1 lakh
