Tamil fans are angry about Rajni touching Politician Yogi Adityanath feet?

Superstar Rajinikanth has met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at his residence in Lucknow. The actor arrived in the city on Friday night for the screening of his film 'Jailer', which was attended by UP Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya.

In a video, Rajinikanth was seen touching Yogi Adityanath's feet at his home in Lucknow. Now this sparked debate in Tamil media and everyone writing thier opinion about this incident.

One section of people saw nothing wrong in Rajinikanth touching Yogi Adityanath's feet, considering Yogi Ji's stature as a Mahanath and head priest. Many actors also bend and touch politicians' feet for personal or political gains. In this case, Rajinikanth doesn't require any such benefit.

But this was not at all well received by his fans and the Tamil public. Many of the people felt that it was not at all needed for a star like him to touch the feet just of a politician, just because he is a state’s chief minister. Some even stated that if Rajini had entered politics, then he could not have achieved success with this kind of attitude.

Meanwhile, Rajinikanth expressed his excitement about the kind of positive response his film is getting from the audience and its success. " It's God's blessng that the movie is becoming a hit," he told ANI.

Earlier, Rajinikanth was in Ranchi, Jharkhand. 'Jailer,' which was released in theatres on August 10, has grabbed the box office by storm. In India, the film's eight-day total collection stood at ₹ 235.65 crore (as of August 17). The film was released in several languages, including Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.
